How to Take Measurements for Saree Blouse

1. Shoulder Width (back) – (SL) Run your measuring tape from the left shoulder bone to the right shoulder bone. When you are happy, record the measurements.
2. Length of the Blouse (Back) (LB) Measure from the middle of the shoulder to the desired blouse length. Marc this place so that you can take accurate circumference measuring.
3. Bust Level (BL) Measure from middle of the shoulder to highest bust point.
4. Under Bust Level (UBL) Measure from the middle of the shoulder pass the highest bust point to the under bust point where the bra wire sits.
5. Chest Circumference (CC) To take the Chest circumference measurement, raise your arms up and place the measuring tape around the chest area. Make sure your measuring tape remains parallel to the ground at the back, the sides and the front. If need be, measure twice to make sure you get this right. When you are happy, record your measurements.
6. Bust Circumference (BC) To take the bust measurement, outstretch the arms across the body and place the measuring tape up around back shoulder blades parallel to the ground. Bring the tape around the fullest part of the bust. While holding the tape in place, get your model to lower her arms. Your tape may expand slightly for the back expansion. If need be, measure twice to make sure you get this right. When you are happy, record your measurements.
7. Waist Circumference (WC) Run your measuring tape around the length of the blouse you have marked and record the measurement. Make sure the tape is parallel to the ground. Take this measurement as accurate as possible and as fitted as possible.
8. Apex to Apex (AA) Measure between Apex to Apex points and record this measurements. Proper bra should be worn.
9. Front Neck Depth (FND) Measure from the center of both neck points to your desired Front neck depth point.
10. Back Neck Depth (BND) Measure from the center of both neck points to your desired Back neck depth point.
11. Bicep (Arm Round) Circumference (B-AR) Run the measuring tape around the fullest part of your arm and record your measurements.
12. Armhole Circumference (AC) Run the tape measure around the armhole comfortably and take the measurements.
13. Sleeve Length (SL) Measure from Shoulder bone to your desired length. Keep your elbow slightly bent when you are taking this measurement.
14. Sleeve Opening (SO) Measure the sleeve opening circumference as per your requirement.
