Unfortunately, you are not entitled to re-sell patterns of Pattern Faculty and or share patterns, sewing instructions and any other written material belong to Pattern Faculty.  These patterns are for personal use ONLY.  If you have a long term business plan in mind, you are welcome to discuss with us the possibilities. Digital and downloadable products cannot be returned or cancelled.  Once it is sold it is considered as a FINAL SALE.  There is no return policy for any digital and downloadable product(s).  No refund is available for any digital downloadable or email transferred products.  Please read our Terms and Conditions and Condition of Sale for more information.

Yes! absolutely you can  sew for yourself, your friends and also sell made to measure garments to your individual client. But, you are not permitted to resell any patterns or written materials.

Yes, you need to Register and log-in to your account to place your order(s) at Pattern Faculty. It is a very simple process and you can get started here.

We do not make “Made To Measure” / “Custom Made Patterns” for now….

Upon the confirmation of the payment, you will be able to download your zip folder.  Detailed instructions on how to download and print your single size pattern can be found here.  How to print using your home printer on “A 4 size” paper will be included in your purchased package.  You will be provided with PDF files for single size page and also A 4 size pagers to print at home.

The process to download the patters is the same for Free & Paid Digital products. Follow the step-by-step process below:

  1. You need to log-in to your account and add the product(s) of your interest to the shopping cart and complete the checkout process.
  2. After completing the checkout process, go to your account dash-board (My Account) and click on “Orders” or “Downloads” from the menu on the left side. If the order status is “Complete”, your selected product folder will be available in the “Downloads” area.
  3. If the order status is “Pending”, the product will be available once we change the status to “complete”.  Please note that in some cases, we do this process manually on paid digital products, once the payment is verified.
  4. Once you see the product is available, click on the download button to download the file to your computer or any other digital device.

Most of the time all digital products should be available to download immediately after the “Checkout” process is completed successfully.

You need to log-in to your account to purchase patterns or products from Pattern Faculty. When you check out, make sure you give the right address or email address to avoid any delays.  Your purchase will be processed once the payment is cleared.  PDF patterns will be sent to you via email or it will be available for you to download from the site “My Account” Download section.

For returning customers, there is a button underneath the password slot which says “forgotten password” click that button and send us your email address, we will send you back the confirmation email to reset your password.  It is that simple.

We have created step-by-step information with diagrams showing you how to take body measurements.  Please visit “how to take body measurements” page for more information.

When you finished registering on our site, our site will normally send a welcome email with the verification code to the email address you entered in the registration form. You have to click the link to verify your email. Once the verification process is complete you should be able to login without any problems. The verification process is instantaneous and automatic. The verification process is only for new registrations.  You can always contact use using the Contact Us Form on the site.

Note: Please Check  your JUNK E Mail Folder as at time the emails end up in that folder.

Our newsletter is an open invitation to everyone.  We recommend you to sign-up for the newsletter to get notified on current events, fitting, designing, sewing topics, new patterns and products, discounts, free goodies and training videos etc.  It is a monthly newsletter.

We all need to have our personal body sloper/bodice before designing our garments.

We all know the styles we like to wear.  Many of you are very classic.  Your clothes go from season to season.  If they fit well and look good on you, then that’s what you should wear.  When you have a properly fitted sloper, you can create any design of garments you wish to make.  Once you get a good fit, the rest is eye-candy.  Changing neckline styles, adding different styles of collars, or moving the dart around to create different look really is fun.

Just a friendly note:  Even if you have always purchased the same size of clothes from the store, your figure can change in just a few months.  When sewing your own clothes, you will want to regularly take your measurements.
